Village Awarded Additional Grants

Nov 25, 2024 | News

We are thrilled to announce that the Village of Churchville has been awarded two grants totaling $125,000 through the New York State Clean Energy Communities (CEC) Program! This achievement is the result of our village’s dedication to reducing energy consumption, increasing efficiency, and lowering costs for our residents.
Here’s how this grant will benefit our community:
✅ Energy Efficiency Improvements: We will continue our efforts to make village buildings more energy-efficient, further reducing costs and environmental impact.
✅ EV Charging Station: A new EV charging station at the Village DPW garage will support the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable fleet.
✅ Electric Pickup Truck: Purchasing an electric vehicle for daily use by the DPW, demonstrating our commitment to environmentally friendly operations.
These initiatives are part of our ongoing commitment to building a cleaner, greener future for the Village of Churchville. Thank you to everyone who supported our efforts in the CEC program—it’s a win for our village and the environment!
Stay tuned for updates as we implement these exciting projects! 💡
