Topic: Hazard Mitigation Plan and the Community Rating System (CRS) where municipalities can earn discounts on flood insurance for their residents.

Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

The Village of Churchville is updating their Hazard Mitigation Plan along with the County of Monroe. This project is updating the previous Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan. We are working with the County of Monroe and will have final approval by the State of New York (SEMA) and the Federal Government (FEMA) in August of 2016.

The overview is posted here along with the meeting schedule. All meetings are open and there will be several Public Forum meetings specifically for the public to give input. The next Public Forum will be held September 23rd at 6:00pm at the Office of Emergency Management located on Scottsville Road.
